What to Expect

We want your visit to Noah’s Ark to be the best trip you ever had to a veterinarian! We work hard to create a warm, inviting, comfortable environment. Noah’s Ark clients are animal lovers, so you might even make a new friend during your visit!

When you check in with our front desk you’ll be greeted by one of our four administrative team members – Dee, Marie, Patti or Sue. You’ll notice that there are generally 4 – 10 dogs behind the counter. It’s kind of like a “doggie aquarium”. Dr. Todd’s two Chihuahua’s “Batgirl & Tinkerbell” are generally found perched in the front window. Dee has the friendliest Dobermans you’ll ever meet. Then there’s an assortment of staff dogs, boarding patients, and rescue dogs. To learn more about our rescue dogs click here.

Once you’re signed in, relax in our lobby. We do our best to keep appointments running on time, but should you have any wait at all, you’ll want to relax and check out our aviary of finches. You may also be greeted by one of our three permanent feline residents, or stop by to visit Moonbeam – our resident dove. He’s over 20 years old, but quite tame and likes talking to people. We also have a computer with access to the Internet in our lobby – so you can get on Facebook and let your friends know where you are!

Next, a member of our medical staff will escort you to one of our four examination rooms. There we’ll get some basic information from you, and measure your pet’s vital signs – just like when you go to the doctor yourself!

Finally, a Noah’s Ark Veterinarian will be in to meet the family. Your doctor will spend time talking with you to address your concerns, recommend additional diagnostic testing if needed, and create your pet’s individual care plan.

If additional testing is needed, Noah’s Ark is a fully modern facility with a state of the art in-house laboratory, digital radiography, electronic medical records, and a full pharmacy. We also specialize in nutritional counseling and behavior issues.
