Behavior Counseling

If  your pet ever snaps at you or growls, bites you, guards possessions, soils in the house, destroys household items… we can help. Dawn Todd consults on behavior cases at Noah’s Ark.  Dawn has a particular interest in canine behavior and has been living with 10 – 50 dogs for the past 15 years. She’s attended countless canine behavior workshops and seminars. She’s served on the board of directors for the Raleigh SPCA. Her particular interest is in evaluating the temperament of shelter dogs being placed for adoption.

If you’re concerned about or bothered by an aspect of your pet’s behavior, we can help. Many aggressive, fearful, or inappropriate behaviors in dogs and cats can be modified. In some cases, medication can help. In some severe cases we refer to a Veterinary Behaviorist.

Noah’s Ark also maintains a close relationship with K-9 Solutions. Trainer Sylvie Pleasant is based out of Raleigh, but travels to Franklin every 4-6 weeks to see our clients for home consults. Visit her website at www.nck9solutions.com
