Noah’s Ark is a great place to work for people who strive to be excellent. We’re currently accepting applications for Veterinary Technicians and Assistants. Be advised that almost all positions at Noah’s Ark require at least some college education. Prior to hire, applicants will have a background check performed, references confirmed, and drug test screening.
Positions at Noah’s Ark are very sought after, and we pride ourselves in having only the most dedicated, gentle, and caring team. We’re certified by Just Economics of WNC as a Living Wage Certified employer – the only veterinary hospital in western North Carolina to achieve this designation. We’re also accredited for excellence by the American Animal Hospital Association.
We set our standards very high and our employees must be caring, empathetic, and have a strong desire to be of service to others – both humans and their companion animals. The work is fast paced and demanding. Applicants should be physically healthy and able to stand and move throughout a shift. It’s the policy of Noah’s Ark not to turn away anyone in need, so shifts can be long and flexibility with scheduling is mandatory, as is the ability to be a team player.
Noah’s Ark employees are eligible for benefits including a health insurance benefit, retirement plan, continuing education, paid time off, and a uniform allowance.
